I have been a bad blogger. Haven't really cared much about internet much lately. But I am sure that will change soon!
We had an uneventful but happy Easter. Barrett's newly widowed mom joined us for the first of many gatherings. We love her and are happy she has joined us. But she made a "stealth" visit to Memphis, and didn't announce that she would be here to other family and friends. So we took no pictures, etc. She is taking her first baby steps through the grief process, and I'm glad our usual family lunacy provided her a safe place.
In other news, Cindy had her first ultrasound yesterday. Baby has a heartbeat! Since she is not suffering from usual pregnancy symptoms, I think she has been reluctant to be too excited. But theres a heartbeat. So happy we are! And I keep telling her to be thankful she has missed the morning sickness phase.
Tomorrow, I am embarking on my very first Girls Cruise. LuAnn, Brenda and I are going on a 4 day Elation cruise. I am very excited to try this. And look forward to more. But I think Bennie will be a stowaway in the future. His little heart is breaking that I am cruising without him. Not so much that I am going without him, but that he is missing a cruise.... LOL!
So I will flood the page with some photos when we get back. And in the future.
I will probably start another blog soon, as this one will fill up with photos at some point. Been toying with a grand baby blog.... I will let you know when I get that worked out.
