It has been 2 months since I have done a blog entry. Yes, I've been busy. So for anyone that may read this, lets catch up.
Ghis is on day 141 of being incarerated. BUT. THere is good news. She is incarcerated at Memphis Jewish Home-rehab. She decided to get off that ventilator a few weeks ago, and it has been a whirlwind. Suffice to say, She has ALL tubes and monitors and machines removed. She is living in the Jewish home for hopefully a few short weeks while she develops the strength to walk far enough to be considered rehabbed. Not sure what that goal is, but she dresses herself, she gets to the toilet, she gets herself to the dining room, she feeds herself, she is a miracle.
In Thomas World, Everything is moving smoothly. His last urologist visit was very good. Although surgery is in his future, everything is working great and no rush to make any changes there. He saw his nephrologist, who just said, he looks good, I'll see him in 3 months, and will ultrasound his kidney then.
Cindy and Barret will be closing on a new house this week. They are getting a suffcient sized house in Arlington. Cant wait for them to get in and have enough room to actually walk without bumping into furniture or baby stuff. They count his baby toys in "square feet lost" LOL!
So after almost 6 month, maybe life will start to become a little more routine again soon.
